ITV Coronation Street star Amy Robbins has announced her exit from the soap.
Amy has played Daisy Midgeley’s mum Christina Boyd on the ITV soap for only a matter of weeks but has already confirmed she will soon be leaving the cobbles.
The actress has admitted that she's already filmed her exit scenes.
Announcing her departure, Amy took to her Instagram to share snaps of her hugging her co-stars Charlotte Jordan and Rob Mallard.
She wrote next to the picture: "And so .. Christina bids a fond farewell to her beloved long suffering Daisy and her darling soon to be soon in law Daniel.

Amy's fans took to the comments section to express their devastation at her departure announcement, especially so soon after her arrival on the soap.
“We will miss you Amy. I hope you will return one day," one wrote.
"That was quick,” another penned.

She previously played Jen Glover in EastEnders (BBC / Kieron McCarron)A third added: "Oh no I was hoping you would be a regular."
A fourth cried: "NOO YOUR GOING ALREADY," while another said: "You are amazing Amy will miss you on that show xx."
Another heartbroken fan said: "Oh no is that it? There is so much more they could have done with the character."
Others hoped for her return in the future, with one writing: "You’re so so bloody amazing!!!! I hope you come back on the show very soon."

Amy is a familiar face to TV lovers, having previously starred in Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Blood Brothers and The Royal.
She follows in the footsteps of her brother, comedian Ted Robbins, 67, who starred in the soap seven years ago playing Mary Taylor's love interest, Brendan Finch.

Another sister Jane was a member of the UK's 1980 Eurovision entry, Prima Donna. Sir Paul McCartney is also her cousin once removed.
Ahead of her Corrie debut, Amy, 51, told the Mirror: "My family are all really pleased for me.

"Showbusiness is in our DNA, it’s a family business that has lasted generations."
Smiling as she shared the advice Ted gave her on learning she had landed a part in the hit ITV soap, she says: "He told me not to underestimate the feeling of standing in the Rovers for the first time.
"He said it would be overwhelming and he was right.
"His other piece of advice was not to call William Roache 'Ken' like he did. Ted bumped into William and accidentally said 'hello Mr Barlow'."
