Valentine’s Day is just around the corner - and you don’t need to break the bank to enjoy a slap up meal with your other half.

Almost two in five loved up Brits admit their plans have been affected by the cost of living crisis, according to Topcashback.

If you’re watching the pounds, most of the major supermarkets are offering Valentine’s Day meal deals to help you get more for your money.

Some of the deals on offer include oysters and steaks to add a luxurious feel to your February 14 night in.

We’ve rounded up all the supermarket meal deals so you know exactly what’s on the menu.

These do tend to be popular, so act fast if you don't want to miss out. Most stores say their availability runs until February 13.

Aldi - from £7.27

Aldi isn't offering a set price for its Valentine's meal deal - instead, you pick and choose what items you want.

The supermarket says the cheapest three course meal costs £7.27 for a couple.

For this offering, you would get mini heart-shaped garlic bread (£1.29), heart-shaped lobster filled pasta (£2.99) and Specially Selected vegan chocolate melt in the middle heart (£2.99).

There is also the option to add on a bottle of Grapevine Pinot Grigio (£3.99) which would take it to £11.26.

Asda shoppers can pick up three courses - one starter, one main, two sides and a dessert - plus either a bottle of wine or chocolates, for £15 this Valentine's Day.

Couples will also get a free Sky Movies voucher, worth £5.49, for their romantic night in.

Some of the highlights in the Asda meal deal include truffle mac and cheese with slow cooked British beef, 30-day dry aged sirloin steak with smoked garlic butter and Italian espresso tiramisu cups.

Asda told The Mirror the maximum saving is £10 - individual prices are the same throughout each category, so it doesn't matter what dish you go for.

Co-op - from £12

At the Co-op, you can get one starter, one main, one dessert, one soft drink and one side for £12 - but only for those signed up to its loyalty scheme.

If you're not a member, the deal will set you back £15.

The £12 deal also doesn't include alcohol - if you want booze, the price goes up to £16, or £20 for non-members.

To give you a flavour of what's on offer, starters include soft set scotch eggs or garlic bread and Camembert, followed by garlic kyiv or steaks for the main.

Sides consist of triple cooked chips and mashed potato, with melt in the middle puddings or Tart au Citron for dessert.

The most expensive options come to £26.85 meaning Co-op members can save up to £10.85.

This is if you choose the Camembert (£4) to start, then the steak (£7.50) and chips or mashed potato for the side (£2.85 each) followed by any £3.50 dessert.

The most expensive drink is then the Irresistible Leyda Valley Sauvignon Blanc (£8).

Iceland is offering several steak bundles for Valentine's Day - with the cheapest deal coming in at £8 for two people.

This includes two Luxury 28-day matured Aberdeen angus rump steaks or sirloin steaks (two for £6), along with chips (£1) and garden peas (£1).

The most expensive bundle costs £12.75 and includes the same two steaks mentioned above (two for £6), skin on chips (£2.50), onion rings (£2) and chocolate fudge cake (£2.25).

The final offer is priced at £11 and includes two Big Daddy steaks (two for £9), chips (£1) and garden peas (£1)

Sadly, these deals don't come with alcohol - so you'll need to factor in the cost of a bottle of bubbly.

Iceland said customers save money on the steak bundles, with the most you can save being £2 on the two for £9 Big Daddy offer.

Lidl doesn't have a Valentine's meal deal - but it has launched a range of heart-shaped foods to help you celebrate.

Prices start from £1.99 for Gnocci hearts, with the most expensive item being its 36-day matured British sirloin steaks for £7.99.

For dessert, Lidl is offering Leone rose ice cream cone (£2.49) or heart-shaped macarons (£2.99).

If you're an M&S shopper, you can pick up one starter, one main, one side, one dessert plus a drink for £20 this Valentine's Day.

Some of the luxurious offerings on the menu include Coquille St Jacques or luxury prawn cocktails to start, followed by cod with tomato, paprika and sherry, or 21-day aged sirloin steak with heart-shaped garlic butter.

Chocolate and orange brownie makes up one of the options on the dessert menu, as well as melt in the middle puddings and billonaires pots.

M&S says the maximum customers can save is £17.50 if you choose Coquille St Jacques (£6.75), sirloin steaks (£10), cheesy spring greens (£4.75), any £4 dessert and Conte Priuli Rose Prosecco (£12).

Morrisons - from £15

Morrisons' deal consists of one starter, one main, two sides, one dessert and a drink and it costs £15 if you're a My Morrisons member.

For non-members, it costs £17 - so you'll pay £2 extra.

Couples can start things off with Camembert tear and share bread for starter, with options for mains including pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto with a balsamic glaze.

Desserts include raspberry panna cotta, a cheese selection and GÜ chocolate and honeycomb and hot chocolate molten middles.

The most you can possibly save is £20.45 if you go for The Best Cornish scallop and king prawn thermidor gratins (£6.50) and The Best Beef Wellington (£11) for starter and main.

You'd then need to follow up with two of the £2.75 sides, for example The Best dauphinoise potatoes or The Best Cauliflower cheese, GÜ zillionaires cheesecake (£3.95) and Menestrello Prosecco Spumante (£8.50).

Tesco is offering a £12 meal deal, made up of one main, one side, one dessert and one drink, but only for Clubcard holders.

Highlights include Finest smoked salmon gratin, Finest heart-shaped potato croquettes, Finest chocolate brownie heart and Finest Prosecco to wash it all down.

The supermarket says shoppers can save up to £9.60 compared to buying all the items separately and without a Clubcard.

Each main costs £6, each side costs £2.60, all desserts are £3 each, then the most expensive drink is the Tesco Finest Prosecco (£10).

Sainsbury's shoppers can snap up one starter, one main, one side, one dessert and one drink for £15.

Starters include scallop gratin and an antipasti platter, followed by pork belly and steak for main, with mashed potato or potato dauphinoise.

Dessert options consist of raspberry and chocolate torte, with drink options including Prosecco Conegliano.

The most you'll be able to save is £14.10.

This is if you choose the vegetable tart (£4), sirloin steak (£9) for main any £2.75 side, any £3.35 dessert and the Prosecco (£10) for drink.

Valentine's Day at Waitrose consists of one starter, one main, one side, one dessert and one drink for £20.

For starter, you could go for salmon mousse or bacon and leek tartlets, followed by ribeye steaks or Coq au Vin for main and frites or roasting vegetables for sides.

On the dessert menu, there is churros and lemon tarts, followed by wine and Prosecco to wash it down.

The most expensive items on the list come to £38.95 normally - meaning you save £18.95 with this deal.

This would involve purchasing either the bacon and leek tartlet or mushroom parfait for starter (both £4.50) followed by the ribeye steak (£10) for main and dauphinoise potatoes (£3.95).

Then for dessert, choose either the panna cotta, Espresso Martini tortes, rhubarb and custard love hearts or cheeseboard (all £4.50) and for a drink, pick one of the Tails Cocktails options (£16).
