DJ Jax Jones could be swapping Ibiza residencies for Buckingham Palace. The hitmaker has revealed the Prince and Princess of Wales’ three kids, George, Charlotte and Louis are all big fans of his music.
Jax tells me: “I’ve met William and Kate who are both really, really nice. The prince told me his kids are big Jax Jones fans, which is just insane to me.”
The future king also revealed his family often start the day by dancing to Shakira ’s 2010 hit, Waka Waka (This Time For Africa). And it seems Jax’s chart bangers have now been added to the royal playlist.
Jax went on: “William said the kids often want to play my tunes at home. He didn’t say which was their favourite but I did tell him I was available for birthday parties. We were chatting on the viewing gallery of Buckingham Palace when he told me. It was crazy… I was proper chuffed.”

He has since collaborated with Jess Glynne, Demi Lovato, RAYE, MNEK, Ella Henderson and Years & Years to name a few. And on Friday he released new single Whistle, with Calum Scott.
Chatting about the collab, Jax said: “I am a huge fan of Calum’s. I think he has one of the best voices in the country so I slid right into his DMs.”
But after working with Calum, Jax reckons his two-year-old loves the singer more than him. He laughs: “My daughter is obsessed with him. She always calls him by his full name. She calls herself baby Calum Scott and I am now officially daddy Calum Scott.”
