The ultimate prize in the NFL is up for grabs on Sunday, as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

It all comes down to this, as the NFC and AFC Championship winners come face-to-face in Arizona for the big finale, with bragging rights for the next year up for grabs. While there can only be one winner, everyone will receive a cash prize for making it to the big game.

The eventual winners will not only lift the Super Bowl title, but each member of the roster will receive a lovely cash incentive, along with a precious winners ring. The losers will still enjoy a pay day of their own, but it won't make up for ending a tough season with defeat.

We all know how handsomely NFL players are paid in this day and age, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of wealthiest of them all. Mahomes signed the first-ever half-a-billion contract as he penned a ten-year extension with the Chiefs, but even he won't complain with the pay out at the Super Bowl.

$150,000 will be up for grabs for every member of the winning team, and there is no favouritism when it comes to how the money is distributed. Whether it's the star quarterback, the game MVP or even a rookie, each player will pocket the same figure.

The same is the case for the team that suffers defeat, although they'll be paid just $75,000 each. It's still a very nice bonus regardless, but suffering heartbreak in the Super Bowl is not on anyone's mind heading into Sunday.

150 Super Bowl rings will also be given to the winning team, with members of staff and the coaches also eligible to receive the precious piece for their hard work. The rings are said to be valued at $33,000, although to many they're priceless.

Both Super Bowl finalists finished the regular season as top seed in their respective conferences, and it's perhaps come to no surprise that they're the ones meeting in the big game. Until now, the Eagles and the Chiefs can't be separated in the statistics, but there will be one winner on Sunday.

The Eagles and the Chiefs both have a 16-3 record heading into the Super Bowl, and they've both scored exactly 546 points in the build-up to Sunday's finale. It's been tipped as one of the closest battles in recent history, and is expected to be a classic.
