Twins refused to spend more than 24 hours apart for 18 years... and even share the same allergies.

Identical sisters Lyndsey and Louise Scott, 23, grew up sharing the same bedroom and wearing the same clothes.

Up until the age of 18, the pair didn’t spend more than a day apart.

When Louise went to study English at the University of Liverpool in 2017, Lyndsey moved in with her sister so they could stay together.

They were separated for the first time when Louise went to study abroad in Kingston, Canada, in 2018 for four months.

Now they live together in their home city of Liverpool, and share the same taste in food and fashion.

Louise, a lifestyle content creator, said: “If one of us had a sleepover, the other one would come or we both wouldn’t go. We shared a room for 18 years. We’re 99% the same. We love the idea of being twins.”

Lyndsey, who creates content alongside her sister, added: “It’s fun and chaotic. It’s a bond like no other. It’s like having another brain.”

The pair are both allergic to the same things – penicillin and parabens, a chemical used in cosmetics – and even had their tonsils out on the same day.

Lyndsey said: “We’re like the exact same person.” The girls now share a flat with Lyndsey’s girlfriend Rosie, 25, an aspiring actor, while Louise’s partner, Jenuelle, 21, who works in music, is always around.

Louise and Lyndsey, who studied videography at LMA University in Liverpool, started working together in 2020.

Lyndsey said: “Now we live and work together. We’ve experienced everything in life together.”

If either of them does break the mould, it never lasts long. Louise added: “Lyndsey was adamant she didn’t like jam on toast ... she was adamant I’d like jalapenos.

“And we both like them now.”
