Of all the muck that ends up on your clothes, grass stains and wine stains are often the trickiest to remove. Thankfully, Mrs Hinch fans might just have the solution.

Cleaning gurus are going wild over a £2 trick they say works on just about everything. From blood stains to grass marks and spilled food, some of the most notorious culprits are no match for this hack, according to impressed testers.

One woman says the tip works so well it even helped her save a dressing gown she was convinced she'd ruined, having spilled curry sauce all over the 'bright white' garment.

As she explained in a post to Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, all of the food 'came out' thanks to Almat non-bio liquid wash. And she's far from the only fan of the product, as she explained when she praised it online.

"This stuff is really good!! So far grass stains. Red wine and blood have been no challenge for this one," she wrote in a post to the tip-swapping Facebook group.

In response, one commenter agreed: "I've used this for a while now. Love it." Another added: "I've been using this for years. Also fantastic on a 30 degree wash!!"

Meanwhile, several people were quick to praise the price of the product, which is available for £2.99 at Aldi.

"I use it and very pleased with results and it’s so inexpensive," read one reply. A second revealed: "We use this stuff all the time, it's just as good as any other leading brand." And a different commenter thought: "I use this all the time, it's great for people with sensitive skin."

Someone else quipped: "I'm a recent convert - it’s amazing stuff, smells so nice and a fraction of the price of what I used to buy. But don't tell everyone, they'll all want it!!!!"
