Alison Hammond discussed Rihanna's upcoming Super Bowl LVII half-time performance with Dermot O'Leary and former Big Brother star Kate Lawler on Friday's This Morning.
As the ITV presenters predicted what the show might look like, Alison revealed that she once met Rihanna after a surprise first class flight upgrade.
Speaking about the glamorous run-in, the This Morning presenter said: "I saw her on a flight," and Kate asked: "Was she in economy?"
Alison continued: "Well what happened right - no seriously, my seat broke."
She and Dermot burst out laughing before Kate interrupted: "What is it with you and breaking things?"
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesAlison said: "No, it wasn't me the seat was broken so they upgraded me to first class.
"Next thing I know, I've got Ri Ri in front of me, I've got Jennifer Hudson behind me, it was unbelievable, honestly. That was the first time I went in first class."
Dermot joked that Alison purposefully broke her seat to secure a first class upgrade.
Rihanna welcomed her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May last year and admitted she agreed to do the Super Bowl just three months after giving birth.
At an Apple Music press conference, she detailed: "I was like, 'Psst, you sure?' I'm three months postpartum, like, should I be making major decisions like this now? Like I might regret this.
"But when you become a mom, there's something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world, you could do anything."
Elsewhere on This Morning, Alison teased Josie Gibson about her drunken antics at the presenter's joint 48th and 18th birthday party with her son.
Alison teased her friend when she and Dermot spoke to the Loose Women panel as Josie was a guest on Friday's show.
Alison quipped: "Hopefully [Josie] can tell them what happened at the party because there was a lot that went on. I'm sure Josie will let you know everything ladies."
"She had a great time at Alison's birthday," Dermot teased and Alison added: "She certainly did that rum punch was good."
