Micah Richards impressed Jamie Carragher with a timeless Inbetweeners joke to mock Thierry Henry live on TV after he was overlooked by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
The trio - now loved for their on-air chemistry as pundits - were covering City's dominant Champions League victory over Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Guardiola's rampant City side tore apart Bayern on a magical European night for City fans at the Etihad Stadium.
Goals from Rodri, Bernardo Silva and the inevitable Erling Haaland edged City towards the Champions League semi-finals as Thomas Tuchel's Bayern were dismantled in a virtuoso display from the Premier League champions.
And there were later hysterics in the CBS Sports studio when pitch side reporter Jules Breach revealed her brief off-camera chat with Guardiola.
Marcel Sabitzer completes Man Utd transfer after last-minute deadline day dash"One of my favourite moments was speaking to Pep Guardiola off camera as he was walking past to do some other interviews tonight," Breach said.
"He actually grabbed me and said 'Jules, please can you say hi to TT [Henry] back in the studio?'. So Thierry, a special message for you from Pep."
Arsenal legend Henry, who worked with Guardiola at Barcelona, smiled and twitched his mouth in a familiar response, but it wasn't long before Richards took the opportunity to make light of not being mentioned by the City manager.
"Ooh, friends, football friends," Richards said, quoting the classic Inbetweeners moment where Jay Cartwright is mocked for having a friend outside his close group.
Presenter Kate Abdo burst out laughing at the joke, while Liverpool great Carragher also saw the funny side of the former City defender's comment.
But the biggest laugh of the broadcast came when Abdo brutally mocked Richards when introducing the star lineup of pundits.
She started the show saying: "I'm Kate Abdo joined by Champions League winner with Barcelona Thierry Henry, Champions League winner with Liverpool Jamie Carragher...
"And the man who had a great view from the bench when Sergio Aguero won the Premier League for Manchester City, 'Big Mics' Micah Richards."
