Nine people including three children have been injured after a fairground ride detached from its base and collapsed.
Two of those hurt were treated for injuries at a hospital following the incident in Bojacá, Colombia, on April 7.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the ride come away from its base in the ground. It then crumpled under the strain and several people were trapped in the caged pods, with one left dangling in the air.
Another pod detached from the main structure, according to reports. A video shows that the ride apparently topples onto one side as workers and onlookers help the victims trapped in the pods.
Helpers tell the trapped riders not to make any sudden movements to avoid making the situation worse.
