A teenage girl committed suicide two days after a video of her being attacked and hit by other teenagers was posted on social media.

Adriana Kuch, 14, was a freshman at high school and was found dead by her parents at their home two days after the assault on Wednesday, February 1.

In the 20-second clip, teenagers were shown insulting, punching, kicking Adriana and pulling her hair, while others laugh and record the vicious assault, it was reported.

Adriana's passing and the humiliating offence have sparked outrage among the community, which denounces an ongoing issue of bullying.

Three of the four girls seen in the video were charged with third-degree felony assault, while a fourth was charged with disorderly conduct.

Students at Adriana's school, Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township, New Jersey, US, walked out on Wednesday in protest, saying the 14-year-old was a victim of severe bullying for many years.

They claimed it could have been prevented if bullying was properly addressed ahead of time, News 12 reported.

Maria Laycock, a student, said: "It's horrible, it's absolutely disgusting, and I wish people, I wish teenagers were better than this because bullying is just not OK."

"We want them to be prosecuted," Meredith Demuro, a freshman at the school told Patch, claiming that the school's reaction was poor.

Another student, Lance Jones, said the school tried to prevent students from knowing what happened to Adriana.

He said: "Nobody was supposed to know Adriana killed herself."

But he said that teachers were discussing it and it spread through the school.

Jones said that when Kuch took her life, the school's administration tried to get students to delete the videos of the attack.

He said: "They’re trying to silence us."

Adriana's father, Michael Kuch claimed the humiliating attack led the teenager to take her own life and demanded justice.

He told ABC7: "They think it's fun to attack people and take videos and post them.

"Getting hit with a water bottle didn't hurt Adriana, what hurt her was the embarrassment and humiliation, they just kept coming at her."

Kuch denounced the school's handling of the situation, saying: "My daughter actually blacks out and they don't call an ambulance, they take her to the nurse's office.

"Adriana was the most happy, beautiful young lady in the world, she loved animals."
