If Hollywood is the city of dreams then for American Nightmare Cody Rhodes tonight could be the culmination of a big one.

The son of Dusty Rhodes is taking on Roman Reigns in the main event of night two of Wrestlemania 39 this evening (April 2) at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home to the iconic LA Chargers and LA Rams.

UK fans will need to stay awake until 1am on Sunday morning to watch the action live and see if the hotly tipped Rhodes will finally unseat the longest-running champion in a generation and former Shield member Reigns.

While Reigns vs Rhodes is undoubtedly the standout match of tonight's card, there are two others which could yet steal the glory. Edge is taking on Finn Balor in Hell in a Cell, with Balor having warned this evening will see the return of his sinister Demon persona.

Meanwhile, long-running IC chamption Gunther is taking on former friends Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in what the latter would undoubtedly describe as a 'banger' of a match.

The three technical wrestlers are renowned for their brutal and physical style, meaning for many this is expected to be a real highlight.

In recent years the biggest night of the WWE's calendar has actually become a full weekend - and that's before you factor in Friday Night Smackdown, Monday Night Raw, NXT Stand and Deliver and the Hall of Fame ceremony.

For wrestling fans it's going to be an action-packed few days and, if you need to keep the momentum up between live events, you could even sign up for a free Apple TV+ trial and watch the excellent Monster Factory, a six-part documentary series about the New Jersey pro-wrestling school run by Danny Cage which boasts stars from Bam Bam Bigelow and Raven through to Judgment Day's Damian Priest as former students who've gone on to achieve their wrestling dreams.
