Anthony Joshua's net worth of £120million still leaves the heavyweight star trailing behind behind influencer Jake Paul.
Joshua will return to the ring tonight against American heavyweight Jermaine Franklin at London's O2 arena in front of another sold-out crowd as his star power continues to shine. Despite suffering two consecutive defeats, Joshua continues to remain one of the most high-profile names in the sport, and will be hoping to revive his winning form to generate huge money-spinning fights against Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
Coming with his powerful draw in terms of audience figures, Joshua has earned some lucrative purses including £65 million for his previous rematch loss to Usyk in Saudi Arabia. However with reports suggesting he could pocket up to another £10 million for his latest outing, it leaves him still behind some of boxing's leading names.

Another name who has left 'AJ' in the dust on the financial scene is Paul who has been boxing for several years now.
He has generated mega purses in the ring particularly for his recent huge showdown with Tommy Fury which could now also lead to a money-spinning rematch. Paul has generated an estimated net worth of £300m since his career started which includes his takings from streaming platform YouTube and social media.

Paul's earnings will also come with a large chunk from outside investments as well as his promotional career in addition to signing a potentially lucrative deal with MMA promotion PFL. On the other hand, Joshua's worth is likely to continue to rise at great speed given he has signed a long-term deal with streaming service DAZN which is expected to hand him a mega £95m in total.

Joshua could also generate further earnings in the ring having already pocketed a total of around £300 million from his exploits since turning professional with Matchroom Boxing. Huge fights are being lined up with the likes of bitter rival Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, which could even land in the Middle East and offer mega payouts.
The 33-year-old has even admitted that money is his "love language" and believes that it is fundamentally an important part of his life. "Just at this time, money is the first thing that comes to mind,' he told the Independent. "Money is part of a big jigsaw puzzle. The reason I say "money" is just because I know how much it helps people. That’s my love language; I can’t be there for you emotionally, I can’t be there physically, because I’m working – but I can wire you some cash!
"I’m not saying money because I’m balling, like I’m getting 50 Range Rovers and saying, 'F*** you, you can’t come and sit in my car'. I’ll get 50 Range Rovers to say, 'Everyone come and feel what it’s like to sit in this Range Rover, and let’s put a plan in place so that you can get one, too'."
