April’s selection of Prime Gaming treats offers members the ability to shoot nazis, terraform planets and even roleplay as a magician.

Prime Gaming is offering no less than 15 games next month, starting from Thursday, April 6, with a minimum of three titles being made available each week until month’s end on Thursday, April 27. That’s over double the number of free games previously available to Amazon Prime subscribers compared to the Prime Gaming March 2023 selection, and it’s a great eclectic mix of experiences to try out.

The absolute standout game featured is Wolfenstein: The New Order, Machine Games’ bloody and brutal reboot of the cult classic FPS franchise that casts you as an American soldier on a mission to dismantle the Third Reich from within. It may have released as far back as 2014, but it still looks and plays a treat today. That’s available to claim on GOG through Prime Gaming right away this coming Thursday.

Another worthwhile pickup is Metal Slug 4 on Thursday, April 20, being an old-school run-and-gunner that is playable co-op and challenges you to get the highest score by killing as many enemies as possible. Then, on Thursday, April 27, the aptly named Looking For Aliens tasks you with proving the existence of Extra-Terrestrials in a cutesy hidden object game where you must find clues while seeing the world through an alien TV show.

The end of the month is stacked for Prime Gaming treats actually, with Grime, Sengoku and Magician Lord arriving on Thursday, April 27, as well. The latter of which is a modernised version of an old Neo Geo game that casts you as a young magic user on a journey to save the world from an ancient evil. If you were ever a fan of classic side-scrollers like Golden Axe and Streets of Rage, it should scratch a similar itch.

In separate news, Overwatch 2 content has been confirmed to be introduced into this month's Prime Gaming treats for the very first time. Until Monday, April 20, Prime members can claim the Junkrat Circus Epic skin.
