Burger King is an American based fast-food company that has outlets across the world.

The brand has a strong presence in the UK as well.

During a walkabout in Colchester, Essex, Queen Camilla was handed a paper Burger King crown by a cheeky teen.

Camilla, who will be crowned alongside husband King Charles III during his Coronation on May 6, was greeting royal fans on Monday, May 7, when well-wishers started handing her gifts and flowers.

In a video from the royal visit that has since gone viral, a cheeky teenager can be seen handing Camilla a Burger King Crown.

The royal can be seen stopping in front of the teen with her pal when she is presented with a cardboard green crown.

Off camera, the girl can be heard saying "it was a last-minute gift", after which the 75-year-old awkwardly smiles, laughs and says: "Oh, lovely, that's very kind of you. Burger King."

The good-humoured royal, who was standing near a McDonald's, then moved further down the line with her cardboard crown and red roses in hand to greet the rest of the adorning crowd.

The teen who had handed the crown to Camilla said: "I saw her take it into the car, proudest moment of my life."
