Known for his large cheeky grin and flawless comedic timing, Michael McIntyre has won the nation's hearts.
The London comedian, 47, is no stranger to fame as he has been entertaining audiences across the UK for 15 years and even earned the title of highest-grossing stand up comedian in the world back in 2012.
Most recently, McIntyre has taken on presenting roles with his prime-time Saturday night show The Wheel.
Packed with huge stars and big laughs, the comedian caters for all ages.
But away from the spotlight, what does Michael get up to off stage? We take a closer look at his life away from the cameras...
Top 20 excuses Brits use to cancel a date - from sickness to work emergencyStarting off on the local comedy circuit during his twenties, Michael made his break after appearing on Live at the Apollo.
He starred on the BBC One show in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and saw his fan base expand overnight.
Michael landed gigs on a number of comedy panel shows such as Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of Ten Cats and Would I Lie To You?
He then turned his hand to presenting duties where he hosted his very own Michael McIntyre ’s Comedy Roadshow in 2009.
Years of stand-up and presenting roles followed, having even been invited to judge Britain’s Got Talent back in 2011, alongside Amanda Holden and David Hasselhoff.
Michael has presented The Michael McIntyre Chat Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, and most recently he has been the host of gameshow The Wheel both on the UK edition, and the US spinoff.
Despite being a feature in many of Michael's skits, his wife Kitty Ward is rarely seen in public with the star.
Michael has been candid about their relationship, often using anecdotes about their lives whilst on stage.
"She was the girl I had been looking for. In the romantic comedy that was my life, this would have made a good ending.
"We would fall happily ever after. Within moments of seeing her and chatting to her I was totally up for that ending. Unfortunately, she wasn’t," Michael wrote in his 2010 book, Life and Laughing.
Love Island fans convinced of secret romance as two Islanders share steamy snogKitty was uninterested in the comedian at first but with much persuasion, Michael was able to woo her.
After all his efforts, the McIntyre family were not thrilled by the news.
“Unfortunately my grandma didn’t really like it when I got a girlfriend,” Michael once revealed on Desert Island disks.
“She was trying to break us up which was funny for a while but then it became quite vicious, an untenable situation.”
True love prevailed and the couple went on to marry in 2003.
Kitty currently works as an aromatherapist, and unlike her husband she prefers to keep her private life under wraps.
However, she is no stranger to fame as she is the daughter of the late film star Simon Ward and sister of Young Sherlock Holmes actress Sophie Ward.
The couple have two children together, sons Lucas and Oscar.
They have also featured in Michael's comedic sketches, with his famous line: “You never love your children more than when they’re unconscious, but still breathing.”
Michael recently enjoyed seeing his net worth skyrocket to over £75 million off the back of his BBC career and Netflix deal.
To celebrate, the funnyman decided to invest in a brand new London pad for £10million.
The eight-bedroom home even has a swimming pool in the basement and an ultra-modern cinema room.
Michael can enjoy a spa after a workout in his gym when he’s not at the other home in Wiltshire.
