Katy Perry has been accused of mum-shaming after making a "hurtful" joke on American Idol.
The mum-of-one, 38, has been a judge on the ABC show since 2017, but has been slammed by fans after a recent episode.
Mum-of-three Sara Beth, 25, went on the programme in a bid to make it to the live shows.
After the California Gurls said she was going to pass out after finding out Sara's real age, the auditionee joked: "If Katy lays on the table, I think I'm going to pass out."
But Katy shot back, "Honey, you been laying on the table too much!" in reference to Sara's three children.

Claiming the joke "wasn't super kind", she added: : "I did want to take this opportunity to say that I think that women supporting and uplifting other women is so cool, and I think that mom shaming is super lame.
"It’s hard enough to be a mom and it’s hard enough to be a woman," she continued, thanking her followers for their support, as well as commenters on the original YouTube video, as well as across social media.
"I see you and I hear you and I am grateful for you," she said.
"Keep loving your babies; nobody deserves to feel crappy about that," she added. "I think if you’re a good mama and you love your babies that’s all that really matters and other comments don’t feel necessary."
Katy's comment came as the judge's couldn't get over the fact Sara was 25. Thinking she was much younger, Katy pretended to pass out in the studio.
Later, the singer, whose partner is actor Orlando Bloom, asked Sara if Idol was her dream.
When the mum-of-three hesitated, Katy said: "If it's not your dream, you might need to leave because there's a lot of dreams behind you."
Urging Sara to sing a second song, the Swish Swish star ended up voting for the young mum along with Luke Bryan, overriding Lionel Ritchie.
The hopeful is now on her way to Hollywood, but it remains to be seen if she'll make it through to the live shows and come face to face with Katy again.
