Britney Spears was left horrified after realising that she had shared a video to her Instagram wearing a see-through dress.
The popstar, who has been active on social media in recent months - posting racy snaps and videos of herself dancing and posing topless - said she uploaded the "wrong video" but that she tried to "play it off".
"Holy s*** !!! Mistake s***!!!" she wrote.
"I posted the wrong video of me singing yesterday and once I did, I tried to play it off with the caption !!! Embrace the fall !!! Yep and try to play it off … yep that’s me !!!!"

"I accidentally posted that version !!! Mortified, completely mortified !!! Anyway … this is me last night in my new gold dress !!! Think I need to salsa in this dress."
The star posted the update to Instagram alongside a video of herself dancing in a gold dress.
Fans were unable to respond to the mishap because Spears has turned off comments on her Insta posts.
Her throngs of adoring followers irked the 'Toxic' hitmaker last month when she revealed that police had been called to her home by a prankster fan.
Britney said that while she "adores" her fans, this time "things went a little too far" and her "privacy was invaded".
