Optical illusions can be a great way to tease your brain and keep it active as it tries to figure out what is going on.
You might have seen these types of brainteasers before as lots of us will remember the infamous dress which nobody could determine the colour of.
And more recently people have been baffled by one which has you trying to find a cat in amongst a row of houses.
But the latest optical illusion is slightly different as there is nothing to spot - there is just a trick which is being played on the brain which you have to see through.
The illusion, which has been shared by UK car dealer, Big Motoring World, features a street with four cars on it.
Mind-bending optical illusion makes your brain 'adjust' after 10 secondsThe cars appear to be different sizes, with two being larger and two being smaller, which you might think nothing of.
However, this is nothing but a trick that our brains are playing on us as the cars are actually exactly the same size. You can see this when straight lines are added to the image to show the height of each of the cars.
This might take a second to wrap your heads around as it really challenges you to think about different perspectives when looking at an image.
The effects of this brainteaser are similar to those of the famous Ponzo Illusion which emphasises that humans judge the size of an object based on the background of the object.
The image above uses straight lines to demonstrate that the cars are all exactly the same size, they have just been positioned in a way that confuses our brain.
So while they might appear larger or smaller, they are just positioned on the page in such a way that makes you think this. But really, there is no size difference at all.
