Love Island star Montana Brown shared the 'creepy' discovery she made while travelling alone to Los Angeles.
The pregnant TV personality took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she found a mysterious AirTag on her person.
She was travelling to Los Angeles when she received a notification on her phone warning her of the unknown device.
"I have a story for you from when I flew to LA and I need to share it with you as it's actually quite creepy," she told followers from the back of a cab.
"I landed in LA and I got this notification on my phone being like, 'There's an AirTag on your person which doesn't belong to you and it's from nobody in your contacts so someone can see your location' and I was like, 'Oh this is weird'."
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelShe continued: "Kind of rummaged around and didn't see anything.
"And then when I went to the loo after I'd gone through security I found an actual AirTag in my bag that was tracking my location so just beware if you're travelling or travelling on your own because apparently, this is a thing."
Some criminals have been using AirTags to slip into other people's coats and belongings in order to follow them.
Apple has condemned the misuse of AirTags 'in the strongest possible terms' on their website.
"Unwanted tracking has long been a societal problem, and we took this concern seriously in the design of AirTag," they said.
The product was launched in April 2021 and is a wireless, Bluetooth device made to keep track of personal belongings such as keys and suitcases.
The reality TV star - who appeared on the ITV2 show in 2017 - announced in December that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Mark O'Connor.
In January, Montana detailed her intense battle with morning sickness, insisting that she can't seem to escape nausea.
"I did nothing but chill. For some reason, for the past few days, I have randomly been more sick than I have been previously," Montana told her followers.
"I was on a work call, on a Zoom, on Friday. This lovely lady is mid-sentence, and I was like, 'Hold on, I'm gonna be sick and I'm gonna faint'. I just felt really, really lightheaded and just felt like I was gonna fall on the floor."
