Olivia Hawkins has responded to claims of toxic femininity in the Love Island villa.
The 27-year-old dumped Islander has said arguments in the villa are "inevitable" as charity Mankind highlighted the "gaslighting and manipulation" towards the men in the villa.
The charity shared a statement after scenes showed the fallout of Casa Amor, which saw Shaq Muhammad, Tom Clare and Will Young reduced to tears.
Meanwhile, Kai Fagan was seen being confronted by Olivia over his decision to recouple with Sanam Harrinanan, despite her coupling up with Maxwell Samuda – but Olivia has since admitted she was a "hypocrite" for her anger at Kai.
Olivia Hawkins has responded to claims of 'toxic femininity' in the Love Island villaAs the scenes unfolded the charity shared a statement with MailOnline, which read: "Love Island has once again showed that when it comes to abusive behaviours against partners such as manipulation and gaslighting, it affects men as well as women as victims.

"The producers need to make sure they apply the same standards to the male contestants as they have been forced to in recent years for female contestants. We and our supporters are monitoring the show closely."
Following her dumping on the show, which took place after a public vote saw her and Maxwell dubbed the least compatible couple, Olivia has spoken out.

"I had many times when I was in tears that wasn’t shown on TV. There were real emotions."
She suggested that the feuds could be down to "big personalities clashing" as the villa was "intense" due to Islanders being in a "confined space together 24 hours a day".
"But it was definitely not a case of toxic femininity," Olivia told The Sun.

She said she is a "genuinely lovely person" with a "fun side" and "big heart".
It comes after Olivia left fans unimpressed with her antics in the villa from her row with Jessie Wynter over claims the Aussie is "fake" to her reaction to Tanya Manhenga and Shaq's row during Movie Night.
Fans noticed Olivia appeared to 'smirk' when the tapes revealed the extent of Tanya's budding Casa Amor romance with Martin Akinola while Shaq and Tanya clashed.

Viewers noticed Olivia's reaction to Tanya and Shaq's row (ITV)One wrote: "Olivia being fake as usual x I really hope she gets exposed tomorrow."
Another questioned: "Was it really necessary for Olivia to be grinning this much at Shaq and Tanya arguing #loveisland".
"Also I hate the way Olivia goes around saying I’m such a girls girl and yet is seen laughing at other couples situations. Like what. Who does she thinks she is. #LoveIsland," a third pointed out.
