Sarah Ferguson has fuelled rumours that she is ready to break her silence over Prince Andrew’s sex abuse scandal.
The Duchess of York is said to have held talks with Daphne Barak, the American journalist who interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell in prison.
Earlier this week, the pair met at a luxury hotel, fuelling speculation Fergie, 63, is poised to mount a defence of her disgraced ex-husband.
But a spokesman for the Duchess said: “This is not something we are considering.”
It is thought a tell-all interview about 63-year-old Andrew – who she still lives with – could command a six-figure fee. The footage would then be sold to the highest bidder.

Senior royals were left aghast by Andrew’s Newsnight interview in 2019 and are still reeling from Prince Harry’s recent memoir.
A source said: “The Duchess has always seen the best in him [Andrew] and wants to come to his defence by telling her side of the story.
“The idea of an interview has been in the works for some time but now they have met in person to talk about the nitty-gritty.”
It would be the first time Fergie has addressed the allegations against her ex since he was named in 2014 court papers as one of the men his paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein allegedly trafficked underage girls for.
Virginia Giuffre, 39, accused the Duke of sexually assaulting her when she was 17. Andrew paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case last year and has denied ever meeting her.
Ms Barak is famed for her jail chat with Maxwell – Epstein’s friend and “fixer” – who claimed she had “no recollection” of Andrew ever meeting Ms Giuffre.
