Pregnant Keke Palmer has sent fans into a frenzy after accidentally revealing the gender of her baby during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show.

The Hustlers star, 29, casually dropped the sex of her baby while discussing zodiac signs during her interview on Wednesday earlier this week.

She didn't seem to realise what she had said, but fans quickly flocked to Twitter after hearing what the Nope actress seemingly unveiled with the TV host.

"Wait, did she just say that," one viewer Tweeted. While another said: "OMGGGG congratulations. She's let the cat out of the bag there."

It was while chatting to Jimmy that Keke explained: "I don’t want to be too blunt for my baby boy." - seemingly revealing his gender.

"Keke just said ‘my baby boy’ on the tonight show," Tweeted another fan of the show. "Did Keke Palmer just reveal she’s having a boy on Jimmy Fallon," asked another.

It comes after Keke confirmed she is expecting her first child on Saturday Night Live during her opening monologue in December earlier last year.

She made reference to rumours surrounding her pregnancy during her speech, saying she "wanted to set the record straight".

With a mischievous look in her eye, she threw open her blazer, declaring: "I am! I'm gonna be a mom!" as she was met with a flurry of cheers from the audience.

Once the celebrations began to die down, the former Nickelodeon star said that it was "bad" when individuals "spread rumours about you."

"But it's even worse when they are correct," Keke joked before explaining: "I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low because I got a lot of stuff going on.

"You know, people kept coming up to me, ‘Congratulations,’ and I’m like, ‘Shhh, can y’all stop? I got a liquor sponsorship on the line,'".

Telling the audience her pregnancy was her "biggest blessing", Keke went on to thank SNL for allowing her to host the iconic show.

“When I first got into comedy, and I dreamed of standing on this stage, I asked myself, ‘Keke, who will you be? Will you be like Maya Rudolph? Eddie Murphy? A Kristen Wiig-Type?’ And now I can tell you exactly who I am: Baby, I’m Keke Palmer," she declared.
