Stefon Diggs' gesture to Josh Allen did not look friendly

The Buffalo Bills have seen their underwhelming season come to an end after the Cincinnati Bengals dominated them in the division round to set up an AFC Championship game with the Kansas City Chiefs for a second consecutive year, and Stefon Diggs was left furious with his own team.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals were excellent throughout the game, with the quarterback, who has elevated himself to super-stardom, threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns. But the Bills, it was a tough night offensively, with quarterback Josh Allen throwing no touchdowns and one interception as they scored just 10 points against the Bengals defence.

Superstar receiver Diggs has been Allen's go-to target over the last three seasons, but he was largely kept out of the game on Sunday night as the Bengals did a good job in taking him out of the game, finishing with just 35 yards on four catches.

But Diggs seemingly felt like he should have had much more than that on his tally, and was clearly frustrated with his quarterback in the fourth quarter as he was caught on camera with his arms out in a gesture to Allen - looking like he was asking why he wasn't getting the ball.

Diggs has built up somewhat of a reputation over the years of being a feisty character, and did himself no favours in the loss to the Bengals, ending their Super Bowl hopes as they came into the post-season as favourites to win their first ever championship.

After an incredible start to the year, Allen's play has dropped off in the past two months - as he registered the most turnover worthy plays (32) in the entire NFL this season.

With the Bills season now over, they will have a lot of work to do if they are to make it back to this point next season, with a number of their key players set to become free agents and with the team sitting at -$8m in cap space - meaning they will have to cut a number of players before being able to bring anybody in.

For Cincinnati, they will now travel to Kansas City for the second consecutive year to take on the Chiefs, and will hope to replicate last years result when they defeated them.

The Chiefs will be hampered by Patrick Mahomes' injury, who suffered a high ankle sprain in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday evening.
