Emmerdale seems to be lining up a huge break-up, that will change things for one character - while one family is also set for big scenes later in the year.
Ethan Anderson and Marcus Dean are headed for a split according to producers Jane Hudson and Laura Shaw.
The characters face a twist that sees Ethan ending up single, while full details have yet to be confirmed.
While the pair seem solid for now, something happens onscreen that sees the couple on a big journey, resulting in Ethan becoming single.
Could it be linked to the recent drama with Ethan's boss, or does Marcus decide Ethan isn't the man for him?
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesJane teased what was ahead for Ethan and the family as a whole, hinting his dad Charles Anderson would take centre-stage later in the year.
She said in a new preview: "We’ve got our Anderson family, Charles, Ethan, Naomi and Manpreet who’s with Charles. They've finally got their own home Charles and Manpreet, which is fantastic.
"And we are going to see Ethan go through quite a journey with Marcus onscreen which is going to result in Ethan being young, free and single, and where will that lead us to?"
Jane went on: "There is a lot in store for the Andersons this year and there is a lot going to be happening for Charles in particular.
"But I am not going to tell you what that is at the moment, you are gonna have to keep watching as it is happening a bit further on in the year."
The pair are currently facing drama regarding Ethan's boss Greg, and it's set to continue in the coming weeks.
Viewers will know that Ethan complained about Greg to his workplace, after the character groped his boyfriend Marcus.
In the fallout there's been some sinister threats, but Greg has got away with his actions so far.
Now, Greg is doing his best to act innocent while trying to lose Ethan his job, instead of taking responsibility for his sleazy behaviour.
Greg left negative reviews about Marcus' business and threatened Ethan to drop the complaint against him, to which he refused to do.
