Two people have reportedly been shot at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory parade.

Two women were wounded along the Ben Franklin Parkway on Friday afternoon, reported CBS News.

One woman was shot in the leg and went to a medical tent at Spring Garden and 23rd streets to be treated, said police. She and the other victim are in stable condition.

An aerial image of the crowd showed an ambulance parked on the street surrounded by people, many wearing the Eagles’ green team color.

It was not immediately known what triggered the shooting.

Revelers in the crowd did not appear to hear the gunshots.

Following the incident, news Chopper 3 hovered over the area, which is about a block away from the end of the parade route at the Philadelphia Museum of Art where Eagles players and coaches delivered speeches.

The Eagles team did not mention the reported shooting.

Around one million people were expected to gather in Philadelphia to celebrate the Eagles’ 40-22 victory on Sunday over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The shooting comes a year after a shooting at the victory parade for last year’s Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs, resulted in 33 people wounded in Kansas City.
