Scottish comedian Rachel Jackson jailed after rant at Nashville airport

A Scottish actress launched into a foul-mouthed tirade with airport police after refusing to take orders, instead claiming she would only listen to an airline captain because of Titanic.

A Scottish woman arrested at Nashville airport after launching into a foul-mouthed rant captured on camera has been outed as an award-winning comedian.

Actress and comic Rachel Jackson moved to the States in order to find love. But her journey came with a huge toll after the 37-year-old was arrested following a meltdown at the airport during an altercation with police officers. Rachel was subsequently escorted out by cops into an awaiting police car.

The footage featuring the Outlander actress has since gone viral after being uploaded to YouTube. The footage was released following a request under the USA’s police forces open policy on records and bodycam footage. Rachel moved to the States last year and documented her journey on the comedy show, American Horror Story, which was set to document her journey for love but instead, she "lost her mind."

But the footage which was captured on August 15, 2023 at Tennessee’s Nashville Airport saw her and police come to blows after she initially wandered into the dedicated Delta Airlines lounge without the correct pass. Staff informed her that she was flying on a British Airways flight to London and was in the wrong lounge, with one member of staff claiming they believed Rachel was "high."

Identified by the tattoos on her wrist and wearing oversized sunglasses, Rachel was soon caught by police and demanded to be left alone. When the officer attempted to reassure her and defuse the now heated situation, she demanded: "Get your hands off me."

"You’re going to stop and listen to me," said one officer as Rachel abruptly responded: "No, I’m not." The police officer went on to explain that she had been denied boarding from the flight but this appeared to infuriate the actress even more. She fumed: "By the captain and I listen to captain’s orders – ’cause I’ve seen Titanic, I’ve seen Titanic.

"I am White Lotus, I am Titanic," she yelled, before yelling: "Get your f**king hands off me," before she was informed she had to be escorted off of the airport property. The pilot and captain in charge of a flight has the responsibility, by law, to deny boarding or have an individual removed from the aircraft. "Back the f**k off," she added. But things turned more dramatic as the cops continued their attempt to detain Jackson.

In a tense moment, she turned back towards police and screamed: "Get your hands off me while I drink my water," as she told the law enforcement officers that they had "60 seconds" to leave her alone. "Get your f**king hands off me," she screamed as they attempted to put her in handcuffs before she screamed out for "help."

Jackson also demanded that the cops handed her money in order to purchase nicotine gum – which they refused, sparking more anger from her. While resisting the arrest, she fumed that she "won’t go to jail," before demanding help from a female officer.
