Five people have been injured in a crash between a double-decker bus and a car.

Those injured in the collision on Blackfriars Road in Salford, at about 21:30 GMT on Sunday, included both drivers and three bus passengers.

Greater Manchester Police said: "No serious injuries were reported but a number of casualties were taken to hospital as a precaution".

No arrests have been made but "enquiries are ongoing", the force added.
