A major incident has been declared at a reservoir on the edge of the Peak District after two people disappeared underwater.

According to the Manchester Evening News, it’s believed the pair were a couple – a man and a woman in their 20s – who were paddle boarding.

They both reportedly fell in and the man later got into difficulty in the water.
