Ticket machines go down at stations in wake of CrowdStrike chaos

The meltdown chaos comes after the world’s biggest IT disaster struck, with thousands of Brits stranded abroad, left without prescriptions or access to the GP

The chaos wrought by the Crowdstrike IT glitch is continuing today as ticket machines at tube stations falter.

Yesterday’s meltdown came on one of the busiest days for travel, with families left desperately queuing at the port of Dover as they scrambled to get home.

The disruption appears to have affected ticket machines and scanners at London stations.
