Commuters are facing serious disruptions after someone was hit by a train forcing Euston to cancel journeys.

The person was struck on the tracks between Watford Junction and Bushey stations.

National Rail said: ‘Emergency services dealing with an incident between Watford Junction and Bushey means trains running between Watford Junction and London Euston these stations may be severely delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.’

They added the disruptions are expected to last until 10am.

A number of severe delays have also been reported across Transport for London.

This includes the DLR and the Piccadilly Line.
