Sharon Osbourne's Celebrity Big Brother stay will end tonight, it has been claimed.
The former X Factor star was always only expected to stay for part of the show and it has been report that she her departure will arrive this evening. The 71-year-old admitted she "can't cope" with being in the whole series and put an agreement in place to remain for a short time.
"Tuesday will be Sharon's last day in the Celebrity Big Brother house," a source close to the show told MailOnline. "She had made it clear from the beginning that she was only staying on the show for a short duration but she has certainly made an long-lasting impact.
"As always, family comes first and Sharon needs to be back with her husband Ozzy but she will be missed by her housemates, especially as they say goodbye to another celebrity during tonight's eviction." She joined the cast as Big Brother's 'lodger' and has bene staying in her own plush living quarters.
Sharon is only on the ITV show for just over a week rather than the full 19 days of the celebrity series. Revealing the heartbreaking reason why, she said it was too hard to be away from husband Ozzy, who has Parkinson's Disease. She shared: "I don't want to stay away from Ozzy for too long. We're so close as a family. I don't think I have ever gone a week without talking to any of them, ever.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filming"Through fights, feuds, everything. We still talk and this will definitely be the longest." When Ozzy was diagnosed with the illness three years ago, Sharon explained: "There's so many different types of Parkinson's. It's not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body. And it's like you have a good day, and then a really bad day."
An insider spoke to the Mirror and said Sharon had made a 'special deal' with the show's bosses to star in part of it. The source said: "Sharon didn't fancy the full slog on the show and she knew how much the bosses wanted her, so she made a special deal. She isn't staying for the full show but is still taking home one of the biggest pay cheques." ITV sources said she was top of their list to ensure the new series "has The X Factor " and gets off to an exciting start.
Now in her 70s, Sharon says popping up on CBB isn’t part of a plan to revive her career as she has "already done it all". She said: I’ve done theatre, I’ve done TV. I’ve done everything I wanted to do. That’s why, with something like CBB, it’s to be enjoyed. It’s a great experience and that’s literally it. I’m just here for the laugh and that’s liberating, very liberating.”
