Everywhere it's snowing across UK right now as bitter temperatures freeze Brits

Snow is falling fast across the UK right now, as forecasters warn that the bitterly cold temperatures will remain until the end of the week.

Brits across many parts of the country should brace themselves for another few days of travel disruptions, as the unruly weather brings "extremely dangerous" conditions on the roads.

The Met Office has also predicted a third day of freezing weather tomorrow, Thursday, 19 January, as many can expect another band of snow showers to affect the Scottish Highlands as well as parts of Northern Ireland, Wales and north-west England.

A yellow snow and ice warning is in place for these areas for tomorrow, from 12pm today until 12am tomorrow, which may bring "further disruption", according to The Met Office.

Yellow warnings for snow and ice are also in place today for Wales, Devon and Cornwall, the West Midlands, the north-west, south-western Scotland and Northern Ireland.

No weather warnings, at the time of writing, are in place for Friday.

According to meteoradar.co.uk, areas such as north-east Ireland and Scotland are already experiencing full blown snow today, while a mix of rain and snow is falling in the south-west of the UK.

With these areas expected to be hit by a falling of the white stuff, Brits have been advised to play their journeys in advance and take care on roads, pavements and cycle paths as icy patches may form.

Here is exactly where it is snowing right now:

Ireland seems to be having the most snowfall in the UK right now, largely focussed on the west.

However, parts of Northern Ireland are also experiencing the white stuff, mixed in with rain, according to meteoradar. Belfast in particular has been affected by the bitter wintery conditions, as temperatures have only topped 3C toda, and are expecting to fall to 0C overnight.

Meanwhile, the Western Isles in Scotland are experiencing a dusting of the white stuff.

And the realtime snow radar has reported that areas just north of Edinburgh such as Dundee, St Andrews, Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy have snowfall.

Down south, a mixture of snow and rain seem to be passing over the ancient city of Exeter and Torquay.

There, temperatures will top a cool 6C throughout the day, as they are expected to drop to as low as 1C overnight and into the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Brits in the capital of Wales, Cardiff, are also currently experiencing a light dusting of snow and rain as it passes through.
