A 15-year-old girl was arrested on unknown charges after authorities determined that she was ultimately responsible for a schoolyard fight that left one girl in the hospital with a head injury.

A dread-inducing video went viral on social media, showing a 15-year-old girl being knocked down by a fellow teen in leggings and a black shirt. In a terrifying scene, more kids crowd around and start kicking at the already downed girl. Then they move out of shot, leaving the initial attacker to pin the victim to the ground, pounding her head on the concrete.

The alarming attack ends when the 15-year-old stops moving. A larger commotion surrounds her, with various children trading blows, oblivious or indifferent to the fallen teenager lying helpless. Police, who rushed to the scene after getting reports about the fight, found the girl had received a serious head wound and quickly rushed her to the hospital.

The victim is either in a coma or critical condition, the Mirror was able to confirm but due to the young age of the girl few details are being released. While the kids who were fighting were identified on social media, major outlets are not publishing their names as all involved in this fight are underage.
