The daughter of Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Simon has dismissed her claim they Simon Cowell was desperate to make her a star - saying her mum has 'remixed' the truth.
Last week, the Real Housewives of Cheshire favourite shared her meeting with the X Factor supremo as she opened up to Simon's former co-star Louis Walsh as the pair chatted in the bedroom. Lauren told him: “I’ll tell you a great story. I was 23 and I lived in London and I was going out with this playboy.
"I was at the VIP table drinking champagne and Simon (Cowell) was there and he worked for RCA records at the time. He came over to give me his card. I had a gold dress on, dancing on the table. He wanted to make me famous as a singer." Louis asks: "He fancied you?" As Lauren replies: "Probably."
She then recalls: "I’m in Barbados and I got married there. I’m walking down the beach with my ex-husband and he’s (Simon) at Sandy Lane with Sinitta. He looks at me and goes ‘Lauren Stone, how are the devil are you? Are you still dancing on those tables?"

The 19-year-old took to TikTok to explain more, and told her followers: "One thing about Lauren. Her stories never miss. My girl has lived. She's lived. She's like a cat. She's seen nine lives.

"We're going to put it down to the fact that he fancied her because my mum... this girl can't sing. She can do a lot of things. Singing? Off the roster. Take it off. She has actually told me this story. This the remix though. She told me that they used to go for a Chinese every Wednesday, so I will be clarifying this when she gets out. That probably happened after, to be fair."
Louis has already made a savage dig about Simon while in the Big Brother house. Asked if he spoke to Simon before joining the show, Louis revealed he hadn't has he "lives in a bubble" and "it's all about him". He told The Sun: We spoke a few months ago, I just rang him to have a chat and he was the same as ever. I love him. I think the world of him, I really do. I know his faults. I know he’s not perfect."
Louis even promised he'd be up for gossiping as much as he can about Simon during his time on the show. Yet he has already caused havoc in the house thanks to his sleeping arrangement. Louis booted Lauren out of a double bed on Tuesday night after he appeared worked up and bothered by the bed situation.
It follows the first eviction of the series on Friday night, as Gary was booted out of the famous house as Lauren was handed a stay of execution by the viewer. He had been nominated by Sharon Osbourne earlier in the week, while Laura soon joined him as a nominated housemate.
Celebrity Big Brother continues every night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX except for Saturdays.
