Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is currently being sold for at least 80% off on every platform it's available on, with the average price under £5 / $5 / AU$7 for one of the best RPG's of all time.

Dragon's Dogma 2 hype is currently at an all-time high – especially with the Character Creator dropping last week to save you time perfecting your avatar when it launches later this month. Now Capcom is putting the original game – Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen – on sale with a hefty discount on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. So you can relive the complete version of the first instalment in the series to really get in the mood.

Dragon's Dogma follows your character – the Arisen – who immediately gets their village destroyed and their ass thoroughly kicked for trying to square up to a dragon. Said dragon steals your heart, and dawdles off as you embark on the epic quest to return the favour and kick the dragon's ass to get your heart back .

While it doesn't have the notoriety of something like The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim or Dragon Age: Inquisition , it's gained a significant following over the years. That's in large part due to the extreme innovation it brought to the genre over the aforementioned games – having combat that isn't utter piss.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen sale

Here's a list of everywhere you can pick up Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen on sale. The sale ends on different days dependant on platform; Thursday, March 14 on PlayStation; Monday, March 18 on Xbox; Monday, March 25 on Nintendo Switch. However, Steam doesn't display an end date for the price drop, only that it's a 'limited time offer'

For players on PlayStation, the game is also currently available as a part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium subscription, as it was included in the PS Plus Extra and Premium November 2023 games. Although a month of PS Plus is more expensive than buying the game outright is, so the choice is yours.
