After suffering a close loss at Super Bowl LVIII, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy found joy again by marrying his sweetheart Jenna Brandt.
The couple tied the knot in a ceremony attended by over 350 well-wishers in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday. NFL star Purdy looked dapper in a classic tux, while bride Brandt wowed in a white gown with her hair styled in an updo.
Their photo session was just as heartwarming, capturing moments outside their wedding church and with Brock's pals. Their romance story began while studying at Iowa State University and they announced their engagement in July 2023, with Brock gushing: "My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!"
Jenna has been a rock for Brock during his 49ers games. "Always cheering you on, babes," she wrote alongside a photo of the pair at Levi's Stadium in California in 2023.

Brock's college friend Blake Clark also made it to the wedding. Clark is the brother of basketball ace Caitlin and was also once backup quarterback during Brocks triumphant run at Iowa State, where he notched up more wins than any other quarterback in history.
"So Blake Clark is a great friend of mine, he's going to be at my wedding," Purdy said in the buildup to Super Bowl LVIII. "He's the man, yeah I love him, he was one of my best friends for four years at Iowa State. Caitlin, I wasn't around as much but obviously just through Blake. We'd always watch her and what a baller she was from day one.

“Obviously, from high school, we knew she was gonna be a game-changer. So, to see her now absolutely killing it, I couldn't be happier for her."
Sharing some more kind words about the NCAA’s all-time leading points scorer’s brother Purdy continued: "I think just the grit. The competitive nature that he has. When you watch it, it makes you want to play, it makes you want to play your sport well. So, when you see her out there getting her teammates fired up and stuff like that, it reminds you of when you're out on the field playing and your willingness to win."
Much like Clark, Purdy wants to write his name into the history books next season when the 49ers will try to win the Super Bowl once again.
In his first appearance in the championship game, the quarterback was seconds away from lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the first time. But a superb pass from Patrick Mahomes to find Mecole Hardman Jr in overtime broke Niners hearts and gave the Kansas City Chiefs their second successive Super Bowl title.
