Celebrity Big Brother housemate David Potts stunned viewers after ditching his controversial look during Sunday night's episode of the reality TV show.
The 30-year-old - who made a name for himself after appearing on Ibiza Weekender and has since appeared on shows including the likes of Celebs Go Dating, and Celebs on the Farm - took part in the series' latest challenge that saw the celebrities dress up in police uniform for a chance to win the week's luxury shopping budget.
David - who usually opts to wear his shorts around others - immediately shocked fans as he was seen wearing trousers for the first time since entering the Big Brother house while donning his police uniform - but some people were less than impressed by his attempt at a Brooklyn accent.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans were quick to react to his unexpected outfit change. One person said: "David with trousers on seems unnatural, he needs his short shorts!" Another person quipped: "Me, lying wide awake all night thinking about how uneasy seeing David in trousers is making me feel." A third person joked: This task must be really hard for David. How can he cope wearing trousers & not shorts."
After entering the house earlier this week David was spotting without his trousers on, which had left Sharon Osbourne baffled, leading her to put him up for eviction. However, David previously revealed that he is often judged for his choice of style and his loud character - but revealed to the former TV judge that "he's a nice person" once you get to know him.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filmingHe confessed: "I’m not surprised, because I feel like I get that a lot – wherever I go people at first are a bit like ‘uh’, and then all of a sudden, they’re going to love me. Because I am actually a nice person, people probably just think I’m a bit too much at first but then they realise I’ve got a lot of layers."
It comes after housemate Gary Goldsmith left the Big Brother house on Friday Night. Speaking about his conversations on the royals in his exit interview,he said: "To be fair, people were asking me about it but they didn't know what else I was. Why are you here if not for that - people were asking me a lot of questions because they didn't know what to ask. I did volunteer a lot - but hey you caught me. I wanted to change what people think of me and who I was.

"It does hurt for when you're always referred to being a 'bad uncle'. I wanted to change that. What an opportunity to have a sneaky peek behind the world of celebrity. I've tried to be myself, chuck in a royal thing a little too often. It was interesting to see an insight into their world. In my world, I am centre of attention but this is a different level."
