Lucy Watson has admitted her birth was not "the dream scenario" as she is fearful about opening up on her experience.
The Made In Chelsea star, 33, and her husband James Dunmore, 34, recently welcomed their first child. She gave birth to a baby boy and shared an adorable black and white photo of herself cradling her baby while James placed a kiss on her forehead. However, Lucy has since shared more about her birth, confirming that despite things going wrong, she and her son "were OK".
Posting a poll on her Instagram story alongside a new photo of herself and her newborn in hospital, Lucy asked: "To birth story or not to birth story." She added: "I have to admit my birth was by no means the dream scenario so I don't want to scare anyone with it... ultimately we are both okay though and that's all we could have hoped for." The TV star then asked fans to vote "yes" or "no" in relation to her sharing more.
Earlier this week Lucy revealed her baby's name by sharing a photo of him and said: "Willoughby James Watson-Dunmore welcome to the world." She later revealed that the photo had been taken just hours after his birth. Lucy added: "3 hours after he was born. So much relief in knowing he was okay."

She shared a photo of herself modelling a necklace that featured the letter W, Lucy wrote: "Little hint for baby's name." She also told fans that the couple were "90% sure" of the name they had decided and described it as "very uncommon but traditional at the same time." She added: "I'm sure [of it] but James isn't 100% but I'm the decisive one and he hates making decisions."

The mum-of-one previously shared her nerves ahead of giving birth. In a Q&A session with her followers, Lucy was asked if she was feeling nervous. She replied: "Yes!! The bigger he grows the more excited I get, but there's always that voice in the back of my head [saying] 'he's going to have to come out of there at some point' and it does terrify me."
Announcing her pregnancy, Lucy called her baby a "little miracle" and shared the couple had "struggles" to conceive. "I think we went into it like most, thinking it would happen easily," she admitted. The reality TV star explained that "wasn't the case" for them, and that "there were times when it felt like bad news after bad news." Lucy recalled that their journey to conceive was "never ending" and that "the light at the end of the tunnel felt faint."
While pregnancy, Lucy divided fans as she shared she'd be raising her baby vegan. Lucy, who is a vegan herself and has written cookbooks catered for plant-based diets, said: “For me veganism is a promise I made to the animals, one I will never break. No matter what. In terms of my diet, I’ve made a conscious effort to eat less processed food and more whole foods."
