But right after they had it, they started being sick, feeling a burning in their mouths and even bleeding, the police shared. "I showed the packet of the mouth freshener to a doctor, who said it was dry ice. According to the doctor, it is an acid which can lead to death," the person who complained explained.

A video that's been shared widely on social media shows customers screaming because it hurts so much. The footage shows some drinking water fast and putting ice in their mouths to try and stop the burning feeling.

The people eating there also said the restaurant staff didn't want to help them when they complained. The police say a doctor checked the breath freshener sachet and found it had dry ice in it. They are now looking into what's in the breath freshener by doing special tests as part of their investigation.
