Former ITV This Morning star, Fern Britton is rumoured to be joining the Celebrity Big Brother reunion as the show returns to air. Fern who hosted This Morning with Phillip Schofield is reportedly eager to share stories about former colleague Philip Schofield who has since left the show in disgrace.
During her exit from This Morning, Fern failed to thank co-presenter of six years, Philip Schofield as she thanked the wider team and now rumours are swirling that she is ready to tell all about her feud with Schofield. reports that Fern has many stories about Phil and that she’d like “to show the public a different side to her — unscripted and unapologetic.”
The source has also said that the pair don’t talk anymore so Fern won’t be burning any bridges if she tells all whilst she is in the Celebrity Big Brother house. In Schofield's autobiography, Life Is What You Make It, published in 2020, he confirmed an intense he had with Fern which he labelled the nail in the coffin of their presenting duo.
He said he argued with Fern in a makeup room in 2009 over the content of a show – and was "stunned" when she accused him of "meddling." Since she departed from the show, Fern has also gone through major personal changes after separating from her partner of 20 years after a conversation which made her and her now ex-husband Phil Vickery realise they were on different paths.
The 62-year-old and her TV chef husband, 58, announced their separation in January 2020 on Twitter. The split came as a shock to many and Fern later revealed there was a real reason for their separation.

“Over time we realised we weren't necessarily having the kind of life we once did. It seemed right to say 'thank you' and move on. But we do have a good friendship.
“Phil and I had the greatest fun together and we have the most beautiful daughter together, Winnie.... so we will always be connected."
She added: "Life has changed for me in the last 10 years, especially with my career. So it's lovely to think I can just concentrate on writing, the kids and getting on with life. This feels quite comfortable, and Phil and I knew it was the right thing to do."
Fern and her husband met on BBC’s Two's Ready Steady Cook and started dating. They tied the knot after her divorce to TV executive Clive Jones was finalised. They had one daughter, and Fern is also mum to twins and a daughter from her previous marriage.
A Celebrity Big Brother spokesperson has previously shared that currently “All names are purely speculation at this stage.”
