Coronation Street fans will see an ITV soap favourite face death on Monday night, as they are hit by a car at speed.
The soap favourite could die as they save the lives of their ex and their stepdaughter, as a villain's revenge attack leaves lives on the line. Adam Barlow faces grave danger as a car slams into him, sending him flying through the air before he lands to the floor below.
As the vehicle strikes he just manages to push his ex Sarah Platt and her daughter Bethany Platt out of the car's path, before he is hit. Bethany slams into a wall but is uninjured, judging by new spoiler images.
But Sarah and Bethany are left horrified when they turn to find Adam laying lifeless on the ground. The attack is orchestrated by villain Harvey Gaskell, with Sarah being the intended target.

With Adam going against him, it's his loved ones left in danger as Harvey takes revenge. But Adam sees the car coming in time and manages to save the mother and daughter, before he is hit.
But will Adam play the ultimate price for double-crossing Harvey, and will he die? It seems he is rushed to hospital in the fallout, given the spoilers already released confirm Bethany and Sarah end up at the hospital.

On Wednesday's episode, spoilers reveal that Bethany's partner Daniel Osbourne rails at his guilt-ridden nephew Adam for getting involved with Harvey and endangering Sarah’s and Bethany’s lives. That said, it's not known what his injuries are and whether Harvey will attempt to hurt him or Sarah again.
