Martin Lewis has been announced as another new host of This Morning.
Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters, who have been fronting the show this week, revealed on Thursday that Martin Lewis would be fronting the show with Josie Gibson on Monday, for the first time. The Money Saving Expert often steps in to host Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid and is regular contributor on This Morning.
However, he will be in the driving seat on Monday with Josie as the ITV flagship show prepares for the debut of its new permanent hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
Kicking off the show on Thursday, Andi said: "I would love for us to say a huge congratulations to Susanna Reid and Martin Lewis for winning RTS Television Journalism Awards last night. Susanna won the Network Presenter of the Year and she was hosting the event and didn't know she'd won.

Andi added: "Congratulations, so well deserved," as Rochelle added: "We see it here, obviously Martin here's a lot on the show – here's actually hosting on Monday with Josie – we see he helps a lot of people."
Martin previously shut down rumours he was next in line to host This Morning following the departure of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. On Instagram Threads, he wrote: "A few stories have appeared that I am bookies favourite to take over as presenter of This Morning. Hilarious!
"If anyone put money on that they'd lose it. A) I've rightly not been sounded out in any way at all. B) In any case I would and have rejected all daily presenting gigs, I'm already over full time with MSE and my show etc. C) I'd be crap at it (the lighter side especially) and wouldn't put me or you through it, there's far better out there."
He concluded: "So to the bookies... move on. Nowt to see here." On Wednesday, for 2024, the RTS Special Award was presented to Martin Lewis CBE for his pivotal role in changing an entire genre of journalism as he continues to provide the British public with financial advice, as well as influencing policy and holding banking and utility industries to account.
On breaking the taboo of money, after winning the award, he said: "I think you don't see this in other English speaking countries, it is a peculiarity with the British system, partially a hangover from out class system and the sooner we boot it out the better."
