ITV's daytime line-up is set for a big change as two breakfast shows have been cancelled.

Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore and Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse's morning programmes are to be no more Oti used to present her show on Saturday mornings while Laura, 38, hosted hers on Sundays. Both shows were named after the stars and featured celebrity guests and live performances.

A source told The Mirror: "Laura and Oti's shows not being renewed is in no way a reflection on them - they both impressed with their hosting skills and personalities. Producers are keen to keep the slots fresh and introduce a new offering to viewers this Spring." As an ITV spokesperson told us: "Since commissioning the weekend morning breakfast programmes, we have used these shows as an opportunity to showcase both established and up-and-coming presenters."

Professional dancer Oti is still a fixture on ITV1, starring as a judge on Dancing On Ice alongside Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. Laura is married to Love Island narrator Iain Stirling and recently fronted an investigative series for ITV.

There's been a big change in ITV's weekend shows. Earlier this month, it was officially announced that Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley will be the new faces of This Morning, replacing Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. After 10 years on Good Morning Britain, Ben, 49, said goodbye to take on his new role in emotional scenes shown last week.

Cat, 47, who is known for hosting So You Think You Can Dance, and Ben are set to kick off their new roles next month. Ben shared his excitement, saying: "For the last 10 years I've been waking up with our ITV daytime audience on GMB and I now look forward to spending time with Cat, welcoming the viewers home after the school run or from their early morning routines, with a cup of tea and a mix of everything that makes This Morning so loved."

His new partner on the show, Cat, described This Morning as "like having your friends over", adding: "Ben and I both know how much people love it and with the help of an amazing team of people, we're going to do our best to take care of it." The new hosts will make their debut together on March 11.

Ben admitted he was "desperately trying to hold it together" on his final Good Morning Britain show last week as co-star Kate Garraway said she was "off already". Starting the show, Kate said: "It's not even a minute past six, I just realised that's the last time we're here Good Morning Britain with Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway. I'm off already, too emotional!"

He added: "I'm desperately trying to hold this together, we've got three hours" with Kate replying: "Are you? Feeling a bit emotional?" to which Ben admitted: "Yeah, I do!" Charlotte Hawkins was also emotional, saying: "I have to say, Ben, we'll be doing our best to keep it together today."
