Ebanie Bridges was forced to defend her friendship with Conor McGregor after partying with the UFC legend at his pub.

Former world champion boxer Bridges took a visit to Dublin over the weekend and stopped off at McGregor's Black Forged Inn. 'The Blonde Bomber' spoke highly of the atmosphere at the venue after being pictured alongside fellow professional boxer Jasmina Zapotoczna and McGregor.

“What an incredible night with Conor McGregor and Jasmina Zapotoczna at the Black Forge Inn,” Bridges wrote. "Unbelievable food and atmosphere. Thank you everyone who came out. If you haven’t been to The Black Forged in YOU HAVE TO GO and don’t forget to have a Pint of the Forged Irish stout. I f***en love Ireland!”

It wasn't long before online trolls began to stir the pot as one user commented: "Out together AGAIN" alongside the eyes emoji. Bridges then replied to the comment: "That’s what friends do," Bridges replied. The pair first met at Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron's fight last May and crossed paths at one of Anthony Joshua's fights just months later.

Bridges has praised McGregor for giving her career advice as she told Lucky Block : "Conor’s team reached out to me and just asked me if I was going to the AJ fight and then if I was interested in collaborating. He is so caring and he just wants everyone to be okay. He’s really caring and obviously he’s the life of the party, isn’t he?

"While he’s doing all that, he’s definitely thinking of others around him and just making sure everyone’s okay. He’s nice, fun, supportive and really, really positive. I do feel sorry for him in a sense, especially in public. There’s so much pressure and he could probably never just be Conor McGregor.

"He always supports whatever I'm doing, so f*** the haters. You look up to someone like him with the brand that he's built and the success he’s made. I know that I put in a lot of work to be where I am, so I can only imagine the work that he puts in. Really it's all about being yourself with a dash of something extra."
