People are looking for homes in Tuscany more after watching Amanda & Alan's Italian Job on TV, according to Rightmove.
The property website says searches for houses in Tuscany went up by 39% and in the city of Lucca by 60%. They looked at how many people searched from January 5 to February 23 this year and the same time last year.
Amanda Holden and Alan Carr fix up houses in Italy on their BBC show. They have just finished doing up a house called "Casa Alamanda" in Tuscany, and you can buy it for about £187,000.
Tim Bannister from Rightmove said: "We often see what's happening in the world reflected in search behaviour on site, and it's fascinating to see spikes in searches for Tuscany and Lucca as the second series of Amanda & Alan's Italian Job aired, with people imagining what it would be like to live there, or possibly what it would be like to take on their own renovation project in the area."
