It was an awkward red. carpet moment for the cast of Netflix's The Crown.
Popular US TV show host Loni Love was reporting alongside Laverne Cox on E's Live From The Red Carpet at the SAG Awards but she found herself in a spot of bother when she was chatting to the stars of the TV series, which is loosely based on the British monarchy.
Loni initially spoke with Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki, who played Princess Diana on the show. Loni praised Elizabeth for her portrayal of the people's princess in a sweet back and forth.
But when Elizabeth's castmates joined her, Loni found herself getting confused in terms of who was who. She initially said to Prince William actor Ed McVey,: "You played Dodi," but Dodi Fayed actor Khalid Abdalla shared that he played the part.

Loni then said to Ed McVey: "No, you were William," to which Ed McVey agreed. Loni then asked them all what they did for fun when they weren't shooting, to which Khalid and Elizabeth advised they never actually shot with Ed and Luther.
Loni, who calmly handled the situation, then turned to Khalid and said: "You did a wonderful rendition of Dodi, how did you do that?"
"Did you study?", she added.
Khalid then explained: "I studied everything I could find of him. The first word you could think of is Playboy and that's so wrong. You have to understand the relatoponshop between him and his father and you need to understand the relationship between them.
Actually one of the things I liked to do was take all of the photos of them together at the time and put them together chronologically and it too a beautiful story."
This year sees the SAG Awards streamed on Netflix for the first time in the award show's history. Idris Elba took on the hosting role, alongside Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham.
Idris was praised for his hosting skills, as he made the audience laugh by saying "f**k" live on air. Elsewhere at the awards, there was a Devil Wears Prada reunion, as Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway joined Meryl Streep on stage.
