Viewers of The Chase were left in stitches after the 'best question ever' was asked on a celebrity version of the show.

Celebrity contestants, and famous viewers including Denise Welch, were left in fits of laughter when Bradley Walsh asked the question in front of the panel, including Aldo Zilli, Joey Essex and Lucy Pargeter.

The very random question was deemed 'Carry On film-worthy' as it was so unexpected, and people were left giggling, wondering how the question was even being asked to the contestants. The question fired at Emmerdale actress Lucy was: "What would you be expected to do with a Nun's Puff?"

The options were Wear It, Eat It or Sit on It. Host Bradley Walsh remarked: "I'd rather sit on it than eat it!" Do you think you know the answer? If so, give yourself a pat on the back, because this question is seriously niche.

The correct answer, which Lucy gave, was Eat It as a Nun's Puff is a pastry. And it gets better as they are also known as nun's farts, which is even more hilarious, reports Chronicle Live.

Denise then posted the clip on X, formerly Twitter, along with a series of crying with laughing emojis as she found it so hilarious. One of her followers guessed incorrectly, responding: "Sit on it? Is it a cushion or something?"

And it's not the first question on The Chase that has had people baffled. Bradley Walsh was left so flabbergasted that he said: "I don't understand" when he read out the confusing question. So, what was the question that Bradley couldn't grasp, and that contestant Jo grappled with too?

The question reads: "In 2017, a special edition of what book was released that can only be read when the pages are burnt?" Well, isn't this just confusing? Perhaps those with an exceptional knowledge of books may understand the question straightaway, but Bradders was baffled.

If you managed to get the question right without the A, B, and C multiple-choice options, give yourself a massive pat on the back. If you're just as clueless as Bradley Walsh was, then here are your three potential answers:

They're certainly three very different types of books, but those who are familiar with Fahrenheit 451 will know that's the correct answer.
