Drying clothes in the winter months can be a real issue.
With the outside washing line out of action, and tumble dryers expensive to run, people need a way to quickly dry laundry without having an unsightly clothes airer out in the house for days at a time. Thankfully, help is at hand. In recent years, the dehumidifier has seen a surge in popularity - and there is one brand that customers say can half the time it takes to dry your clothes.
Mrs Hinch fans have given the stamp of approval to the Meaco dehumidifiers, which have received almost cult-loved status, according to Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips.
They are an investment; the cheapest one on the market - the MeacoDry ABC 10L Dehumidifier in white costs £149.99 at John Lewis, while the Meaco Arete Dehumidifier & Air Purifier, 20L will set you back £259.99.
But Hinch fans swear it's worth the upfront cost. "We looked at quite a few and decided on Meaco," one wrote. "I was amazed at how much water it takes out when using it for drying clothes. My wash can now dry in six hours or less, depending on the thickness of the items on the airer, opposed to a day or two previously."

Another fan said she was "amazed by how much water her Meaco collects". And a third admitted the dehumidifier was noisier than she expected but confirmed she was "happy with it regardless". More and more Brits have introduced into their homes in recent years to help tackle damp and fight .
According to the professionals, one of the most common mistakes people make when using a dehumidifier is where you put it. Placing it in a corner or near walls and obstructions can "restrict airflow and thereby reduce its efficiency". Experts recommend you place the appliance in the middle of the room for the best circulation.
And when it comes to drying clothes, dehumidifiers should be used in the smallest room in your house for the best results.
Home expert and Queen of Clean, Lynsey Crombie, advises: "Choose the smallest room to dry your clothes and shut the door. Roughly place the unit six inches away from your clothes with the vent face facing the clothes - this way, they will dry much faster. Turning your clothes rack every hour will also help to speed things along."
And just like every other appliance in your home, it's important to remember to properly maintain your dehumidifier. Neglecting to replace filters, empty the water out, or maintain the coils, can lead to "decreased performance and potential breakdowns".
