Friends of adult film star Kagney Linn Karter continue to share loving tributes after her tragic death

Tributes continue to pour in for adult film star Kagney Linn Karter after she tragically took her own life, with loved ones describing her as someone who "never shied away from the challenge".

On Tuesday officials confirmed that the 36-year-old porn star killed herself with a shotgun after her body was discovered at her home in Parma, Ohio. Since her tragic death, fans and friends have launched a GoFundMe page in her honor raising funds to support her mother Tina for the cost of her daughter's memorial with all extra funds going towards a local animal rescue charity. So far, the page has gained incredible traction raising nearly $17,000 with an outpour of love for Kagney.

In the description, friends that worked alongside Kagney at her pole dancing business in Ohio described her as an ambitious businesswoman who never backed down from a challenge. They kindly wrote: "Business ownership is no easy task, but Kagney never shied away from the challenge."

And continued: "Her students and staff remember her incredibly fondly, both as an intelligent and intuitive instructor and as an owner who did all she could to build a little community of her own, something of which she could be proud, somewhere she could feel safe and wanted. The best version of herself."

Her friends then went on to explain that despite her many accomplishments throughout her life, Kagney struggled with mental health issues. They said that despite fighting her own internal battles, Kagney continued to push and show up for those around her always attending her classes at the studio and ready to "learn, contribute, and better herself" in any ways she could. They added that she would always make an effort to show up for her community and friends no matter what personal issues she was dealing with.

Fans and loved ones that donated to the page all shared beautiful words in memory of Kagney. One person wrote: "Kagney was magnetic and a ray of sunshine into every room. She walked into. For energy her smile will be truly missed." Another said: "Kagney was loved and admired by legions of fans and supporters. I send my condolences to her friends and family during this difficult time." And a third wrote: "Peace and strength for those left behind. Take wing Angel, the earth is a little less bright today."
