Barry Keoghan's reaction to Sophie Ellis-Bextor's BAFTAs performance has everyone talking.

Sophie performed her hit track, Murder on the Dancefloor, at the BAFTAs tonight. The song was first released years ago but it has a whole new set of fans after it was used in the movie Saltburn, which was directed by Emerald Fennell.

She wowed in a black dress and orange sash for the performance, which was enjoyed by all the celebrities who had packed into the Royal Festival Hall in London, where the ceremony was being held.

However, it was Barry's reaction that had everyone talking, with fans rushing to social media to comment on the Hollywood star's reaction to the performance. In Saltburn, his character famously danced naked through the estate while the song played.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Thoroughly disappointed that the #BAFTAs didn’t have Barry Keoghan dance around naked during Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s performance," whilst a second added: "Not a single cut to Barry Keoghan dancing? Outrageous #BAFTAs." A third shared: "Hoping @barrykeoghan gets on stage to dance with Sophie #BAFTAs," with a fourth writing: "If Barry Keoghan doesn’t dance naked on the stage what’s the point of even preforming this #BAFTAs."

Earlier tonight, Saltburn star Richard E. Grant joked to The Mirror that he was ready to strip off during Sophie Ellis-Bextor's BAFTA performance. Asked what it was like to film the film, he quipped: "We were in the nude most of the time. Tonight when Sophie Ellis-Bextor performs, all the cast will be taking their clothes off in the stalls."

Sophie, meanwhile, was asked on the BAFTA red carpet about Barry recreating his character's infamous dance scene.

"It might be a bit much for him first thing but we have had a moment together already… I was lucky enough to meet all the Saltburn cast back in November in LA at the premiere, so it’d be nice to see them again because I think what they’ve achieved with the film is wonderful so I just want to toast that," she said, as she spoke of the film's stellar cast.

Saltburn follows the journey of Oliver Quick, played by Barry, who is struggling to fit in at Oxford University. But he soon forms a connection with aristocrat Felix Catton, played by Jacob Elordi. Felix invites Oliver to his family estate, Saltburn, for a summer that he will never forget. Once at the estate, things take a dark turn as Oliver grows more and more infatuated with Felix and his lifestyle.
